Qumulo, the leading file data platform has raised $125 Million in Series E funding, with a total valuation of more than $1.2 Billion. The funding was led by BlackRock, with help from Highland Capital Partners, Madrona Venture Group, Kleiner Perkins, and Amity Ventures. With the closing of this investment, the company’s total funding will grow to $351 Million.
The investment will accelerate Qumulo’s vision for creating and managing digital content across clouds. Qumulo has continued to innovate and has the world’s leading enterprises such as Shell, Hyundai, Capsilon (part of Ellie Mae), Progenity, Vexcel, and Cinesite as its clients.
Since March 2020, Qumulo has offered free cloud software to help medical and healthcare research organizations fight the COVID-19 outbreak.
